Sailing Journal Day 10 (March 29th)

Woke up in a nice cove of water. right at the entrance to the Cape Cod Canal. We motored through the canal and came to a little situation on the other end. As we were exiting the canal, we got a good view of a tug boat pulling a barge. they were rocking back and forth and blowing all over the place. The seas were gnarly. We turned around with our tails tucked between our legs and pulled into a marina in Sandwich, MA.

My friend Ryan came and saved us for the night. He got us to his house and we took hot showers and washed some clothes. We ate steak dinners and watched a big screen TV all night while petting his Puggle Bailey. It felt great to sleep in warm comfortable beds.
