After leaving Gisbone, we headed down the coast to Mahia in search of more surf. perfectly flat waters resulted in a nice game of chess on the beach. We were hoping to spend days on the coast surfing on our way down to wellington
but the storm that came in was killing the surf. We rode a new slippery skatepark for 10 minutes in Hastings and then got our first Hostel for the night to escape the rain in Napier.
Drove from Napier down to the southern point of the North Island, Wellington. Stopped at a fun park in Upper Hut, Rode a bit, but you know.....scooters. everywhere.
They were having a skate contest in Wellington. Stoked to roll up with that going on.
Found a sweet place to cook a meal and an even sweeter place to pitch a tent...
