old friends and new friends alike

i grew up in webster massachusetts. when i was 10 years old my sister was 15. she hung out with a kid named nick that was her age who had a brother that was a year younger than me. she would go hang out with nick and i would go with her and hang out with nicks brother and skateboard in the street in front of his house. Its kinda weird to think about but i have acctually known Jake and kept in touch with him longer than anyone else in my life. we had our ups in downs through high school and jake acctually went through a huge gangster phase which i stood clear of for some time.. but over all, we have been hanging out for 16 years.  Jake was on tour with his friends band and they came through Austin a few days ago. we met up and had some laughs.. good times were had by most. and the band opened for "sick of it all" which was a band i grew up listening to and i acctually stopped at T-1 to see if joe wanted to come and he told me that "sick of it all" was the first show he ever went to.. it was a good night

also turns out jake and i's old friend meagan lives in austin too and i havent seen her in sooo long so we had a nice little reunion
